New Year's Eve present(ables)

I got my New Year's present! It's a Samsung digital camera! It's a small, sleek, stylish, Sanmsung digital camera, smaller than my Canons, and much cooler. I like the Samsung over the Canon, I must say.

Gifts of 2012.

Today, as my New Year's gift, I am receiving a digital camera. In the past, I've owned two Canon digital cameras in different times. They have served me all right. This time, that is the difference, this will serve me well. I will value it more than the Canon Sure Shot cameras I used to use 35mm, it even has a recording feature. Prints at the camera store are 20 cents a print. It is a piece of art. So, without getting pornographic, I am happy with this gift, this digital camera.
Over Christmas, I purchased three plastic model kits, a Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 camera with film, adult dvds, and thirty dollars worth of comic books. This will be my last present for 2012.
On my birthday, I received three hundred dollars and an I-Pod Touch. I revel in gadgets and money! Tonite is New Year's Eve, and I'm ordering an X-Large pizza. I wonder what cool stuff 2013 will bring for me. Cheers!

Next year.

Next year is Year of the Serpeant. I'll be traveling to the Philippines. I'll be camping in the eastern Sierra's. Birthday, Christmas, all things in between. Plastic modeling is favorable, spending time with pals is favorable, enjoying time of yours is favorable. Honestly, I'm more looking forward to other years in the future. Since the serpeant is the friend of rooster, that might make the year more worthwhile.
2012, Year of the Dragon, was one of the best years in my life. Thank you, Dragon! Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, I went to the Philippines. Birthday, 300 USD from my dad,  I got an I-Pod Touch from my mom, I met the kids in the neighborhood, had pizza very delicious, Christmas, I got 500USD from my dad, I got a Canon digital camera from my mom, we're having a guest come over to celebrate Christmas with me and my mom. I've never felt so alive, until 2012, Year of the Dragon.

Christmas gifts 2012.

For the holiday of 2012, X-mas time, I received in Dec., 500USD from my dad, also will receive a digital camera from my mom and her spouse. With the 500USD, I bought three boxes of plastic models, five adult porno dvds, comic books, Whoppers candies, a dinner at the Hawaiian barbecue burger restaurant in Berkeley, CA, a Fujifilm Instax 25 picture film camera with film. It was really great. Next year, with my Christmas money, I'm just gonna buy little things like comics, candies and stuff from Daiso if not something better like a jacket. That's also what I got for this Christmas, I got a few items from Daiso,- a Paris notebook., a laced designed little notebook, two ink gel pens, a box of Pocky sticks, a box of Lucky sticks, and a box of Chococones. I also got a beanie and a belt colored green, from Daiso. I'm happy with all my Christmas gifts. Next year, I just want to buy little things, the biggest thing will be a model, or maybe two of them.

June 12-July 6 Philippines 2012.

We came during the rainy season, to Manila, this year. We stayed at an apartelle in New Manila, after we took the taxi after not meeting our relatives at NAIA, who waited for five hours. I went shopping a few days later at Greenhills Shopping Center. I met my cousins and driver and later on, my sisters at a restaurant buffet at Glorietta. I drank much San Miguel Beer and Red Horse throughout my stay. I met topless models, bikini models and a another model, at my cousin's photoshoots, drunk of my ass from Red Horse beer most of the time. We drove through flooded streets. And I bought hella toys from Greenhills Shopping Center before I came back to the states. Year of the Dragon, year of the water dragon.

Remembering and Recommending Chungking Express and Fallen Angels.

Two of some of my favorite foreign movies of all time are Fallen Angels and Chungking Express. Both of these movies were directed by the renowned filmmaker Wong Kar Wai. Both of these movies take place in the city of Hong Kong in the early 90s. I like Fallen Angels (or les Anges Dechus as it was called and released in France) because it has a beautiful cinematography and a very unconventional storyline, even for a Hong Kong flick. Fallen Angels has two stories, one about a killer and his unorthodox relationship with his clean up lady, who literally places all the material in black garbage bags, and the second is about an ex convict who lives with his old father and forces people to buy his services that he renders to them at night, and his romantic, tryst, with a psychotic young lady bent on exacting her revenge on the blondie who took her boyfriend away from her. It is great stuff. Very avante-garde.
Chungking Express was made a year or two before Fallen Angels (and is it's prequel) and it involves a tale of a female drug smuggler and her excursions into her operations in HK or Hong Kong, and the unlikely meet up of her and a cop at a bar, and a hotel room. The second story that more or less intertwines in the movie is the young woman who dreams of moving to California and works in a HK take-out cafeteria style eatery, and her romantic relations with another cop. These movies star big names in Hong Kong cinema and even music  -Tony Leung, Bridgette Lin, Charlie Yeung, Leon Lai, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Karen Mok and last but not least, Faye Wong. These are some of my favorite movies in the world. Long live Hong Kong, Asia and the Philippines!

A Sunday Pasyal (pashal).

Today, this morning we ate at Denny's Diner. I had the double cheeseburger and orange juice. It was very big, the meat was coming off of the bun, and the meal came with a steak knife. The place was packed, full of Sunday church service people, and young people, and all ethnicities was there, to chow down [on] a cheap glorious meal on a Sunday.
After Denny's we canceled on the John Carter movie and instead went to the Goodwill on San Pablo Ave. and I bought around 5 pairs of pants. I got a pair of Arizona jeans and they are so sick. The "wash" of the jeans is this perfect lighter, but sharp blue. Arizona is really a sick jean and clothing company. Arizona Jean Company is what it's called.
Before we went to the Goodwill, we went to the 99Cents Only store. We bought a lot of stuff. Among them, were body soaps, some of which were Yardley of London, and bubble bath wash, and acne removal, prevention liquid, like Neutrogena but only .99 cents. All that stuff works, for under a buck each.
That was our day [my mom and mine] of pasyal.

Bon Apetit, a Porkchop!

Food trip, I ordered a pork chop cheese melt at the Hong Kong cafe restaurant in front of Ranch 99, and this is what I got, ahem, a pork chop [cheese melt]. LOL. Why, is it funny? Usually, meat dishes in restaurants give you side orders, like rice, veggies, french fries or whatever.

Are You Ready for Kare Kare! ^_^

Tonite, I helped my mom cook kare kare and we had that for dinner. We had to tenderize the ox tail and beef, last night, for cooking tonight. It is hella good. Kare kare, is oxtail stew with vegetables in peanut sauce. It is a Filipino dish, it is a Filipino treat, and with bagoong it is a Filipino delicacy. I had two plates or helpings of kare kare. That's what I eat at Dad's Buffet in Manila -Kare kare and lechon. Kare kare should win an award for being a supremely tasty, and, nourishing dish.

Food Lovers Weekend ^_^

On Sat., me and my folks ate at a Chinese Restaurant called Da Lian in Shattuck St. in Berkeley. The food was so good. We ordered the tea smoked duck, sweet and sour prawns, beef chow mein, and braised tofu and eggplant. I ate the tea smoked duck, sweet and sour prawns and beef chow mein. It was hella good. Very tasty, and not too or overly salty at all. It was the best Chinese food, I've ever had. Then today, we ate at a Hong Kong style cafe in the Asian Mall in Richmond, and they had a Greek menu. So I ordered two gyros, and got a drink called "Old San Francisco", which is watermelon, mango, and little balls at the bottom. I've never had a drink as sweet as that. The gyros were pretty good, but it would be nice if they served them with french fries! For dinner, I had a piece of blueberry cheesecake bought from Ranch 99 in the Asian Mall. I'm still pretty full from the gyros.

Figure mania, -holic, or fandom (in action) ^_^

I recently bought two new Fraulein Revoltech figures. They are very beautiful. They are Fraulein Revoltech Vol. 2, Rin Tosaka, and Fraulein Revoltech Vol. 3, Asuka Langley Soryu. They are so beautiful. I keep all my Fraulein Revoltechs, Revoltechs, Monsieur Bomes', Ame-Comi, Mig-60, Space Pirate, and Kaiyodo(s), in their boxes or packages and display them. I display them in their original packages. They look way cooler that way, in my opinion.

My A-10 Thunderbolt or Warthog model.

Today is a lazy, breezy, somewhat sunny Sunday afternoon, and I'm just working on my A-10 Thunderbolt model. I've had it for awhile since 2010, but haven't been working on it until last night. The body, the twin engines, the cockpit are done, now I just got a work on the landing gear or apparatus, and the missiles and bomb parts, then paint it, in a camouflage scheme, using nothing but paint brushes. I've actually done that before on a Harrier jet model, but this time I'll paint it camo, with nothing but paint brushes. It's a very beautiful model.
My next models are Robbie the Robot, and 5 different little jets from Tamiya, that I bought at Lil's Hobby Shop @ the basement of Megamall in the Philippines. After those, I'm gonna be working on model cars!

Bing's Mom and Sister (Faye)!

A couple nights ago, Bing's mom and Faye left to go to another country, to drink wine, go shopping, and stay for awhile. That's just what they do. When they were here, our whole house was a mess. Faye, cooked this one pasta dish that was hella good. It was some kind ground beef with onions made into like a kinda together patty, and she put it over spaghetti. She gave me a plate with wine. It was really freakin good, I've never had anything like that before. It was French nor Italian. Then another night she made these toasted hors d'ouevres, that was toasted bakery bread, kinda like a wide sourdough, with grilled eggplant and mushrooms and melted European cheese, kinda like a European toasted melt. That was hella good too.
Bing's mom, every now and then, when Faye was in the kitchen, would sneak and give me like 20$ or 24$. She's very generous. When they left a couple of nights ago, they left a mess from the guest room, and the following day, I cleaned it up by throwing away all that garbage junk on the ground to the recycling bin, and sweeping the floor. Now, there's no mess.
That's Bing's mom and sister. Travelling around the world, going from Malaysia to Singapore, to Costa Rica to France, to Canada, and here [at our home] in the U.S.
