Are You Ready for Kare Kare! ^_^

Tonite, I helped my mom cook kare kare and we had that for dinner. We had to tenderize the ox tail and beef, last night, for cooking tonight. It is hella good. Kare kare, is oxtail stew with vegetables in peanut sauce. It is a Filipino dish, it is a Filipino treat, and with bagoong it is a Filipino delicacy. I had two plates or helpings of kare kare. That's what I eat at Dad's Buffet in Manila -Kare kare and lechon. Kare kare should win an award for being a supremely tasty, and, nourishing dish.

Food Lovers Weekend ^_^

On Sat., me and my folks ate at a Chinese Restaurant called Da Lian in Shattuck St. in Berkeley. The food was so good. We ordered the tea smoked duck, sweet and sour prawns, beef chow mein, and braised tofu and eggplant. I ate the tea smoked duck, sweet and sour prawns and beef chow mein. It was hella good. Very tasty, and not too or overly salty at all. It was the best Chinese food, I've ever had. Then today, we ate at a Hong Kong style cafe in the Asian Mall in Richmond, and they had a Greek menu. So I ordered two gyros, and got a drink called "Old San Francisco", which is watermelon, mango, and little balls at the bottom. I've never had a drink as sweet as that. The gyros were pretty good, but it would be nice if they served them with french fries! For dinner, I had a piece of blueberry cheesecake bought from Ranch 99 in the Asian Mall. I'm still pretty full from the gyros.

Figure mania, -holic, or fandom (in action) ^_^

I recently bought two new Fraulein Revoltech figures. They are very beautiful. They are Fraulein Revoltech Vol. 2, Rin Tosaka, and Fraulein Revoltech Vol. 3, Asuka Langley Soryu. They are so beautiful. I keep all my Fraulein Revoltechs, Revoltechs, Monsieur Bomes', Ame-Comi, Mig-60, Space Pirate, and Kaiyodo(s), in their boxes or packages and display them. I display them in their original packages. They look way cooler that way, in my opinion.

My A-10 Thunderbolt or Warthog model.

Today is a lazy, breezy, somewhat sunny Sunday afternoon, and I'm just working on my A-10 Thunderbolt model. I've had it for awhile since 2010, but haven't been working on it until last night. The body, the twin engines, the cockpit are done, now I just got a work on the landing gear or apparatus, and the missiles and bomb parts, then paint it, in a camouflage scheme, using nothing but paint brushes. I've actually done that before on a Harrier jet model, but this time I'll paint it camo, with nothing but paint brushes. It's a very beautiful model.
My next models are Robbie the Robot, and 5 different little jets from Tamiya, that I bought at Lil's Hobby Shop @ the basement of Megamall in the Philippines. After those, I'm gonna be working on model cars!

Bing's Mom and Sister (Faye)!

A couple nights ago, Bing's mom and Faye left to go to another country, to drink wine, go shopping, and stay for awhile. That's just what they do. When they were here, our whole house was a mess. Faye, cooked this one pasta dish that was hella good. It was some kind ground beef with onions made into like a kinda together patty, and she put it over spaghetti. She gave me a plate with wine. It was really freakin good, I've never had anything like that before. It was French nor Italian. Then another night she made these toasted hors d'ouevres, that was toasted bakery bread, kinda like a wide sourdough, with grilled eggplant and mushrooms and melted European cheese, kinda like a European toasted melt. That was hella good too.
Bing's mom, every now and then, when Faye was in the kitchen, would sneak and give me like 20$ or 24$. She's very generous. When they left a couple of nights ago, they left a mess from the guest room, and the following day, I cleaned it up by throwing away all that garbage junk on the ground to the recycling bin, and sweeping the floor. Now, there's no mess.
That's Bing's mom and sister. Travelling around the world, going from Malaysia to Singapore, to Costa Rica to France, to Canada, and here [at our home] in the U.S.
