At La Mesa Watershed and SM Fairview Yesterday.

Yesterday, me, Carlo and Tito Wily went to the La Mesa Watershed, park and dam, and it was really impressive, the watershed and park was full and lush with the vegetation of verdant tropical trees and foliage, and there was a little pond with lily's. Replete with waterlily's. Then we walked up the long and tiring flight of concrete steps to view the dam. It was vast. The weather was hot and humid too. I felt like one of those contestants from Survivor.
Then we went to SM Fairview, and I bought two bottles of lambanog to bring back to the states and give a bottle too, to my friend Michelle. They were smaller bottles than what you can get from the stores or markets, but that's ok. I think I'll look for one of those too. Then we had halo halo at a small little kapangpangan  cafe restaurant. Then I bought a box of a dozen donuts from Dunkin Donuts. Damn, Dunkin Donuts are the best donuts in the world. They are so good. They're not damn good, they're hella good I thought I would say that. So I stopped by Filbar's at SM Fairview but not as impressive as the one in Megamall, Virra Mall or Robinson's Galleria. So we went back, and went back home, after we went to Ever, and I bought 1 toy figure of Elecktra from Marvel Comics and a miniature anime stand up figure of a an anime chick. That was my day, yesterday, nature, shopping, and some toy figures, and got a pedicure manicure too. That and the aircon of the malls and the humid heat of outside. A day in the life in Metro Manila for a dude like me.

In Mandaluyong. Dip Trip Flip Phantasia.

Hi fans, Garfield here. I'm here in Mandaluyong, Manila, with my uncle at his friends super duper high rise condo with his friends playing mahjong. It was raining cats and dogs earlier, and now it's nice and overcast. I see the other skyscraper buildings and condominiums from the balcony, and I see Megamall from the balcony too. It was raining hard, and in the other skyscraper, I could see a little cafe restuarant on one of the floors. Tito Wily's friends were Louie, Francis, both Filipinos from New York and this other guy wearing one of those caps and thick black plastic glasses. We went swimming in one of the rooftop swimming pools in the rain. I swam in my boxers, and when I came back to tito Francis' condo, Louie, while playing mahjong said, "You look like you peed in your pants".

That day, I also bought some old commonwealth and japanese era Filipino bills, from World Treasures in Megamall for 20 PHP each. I bought 240 PHP worth, which is a small collection. I also got a 1903 Commonwealth era  Filipino U.S. coin for 2,500 PHP. That and the 1945 5 centavos coins are my highlights in my little but perhaps expanding coin collection.

In Manila, with some skrilla.

Hi there, Garfield here, I've been in the Philippines since April 27th and so far, I have bought 5 Tamiya model kits of 1/100 scale airforce jets, one Ami-Comi figure of Star Saphire, some comics from Comic Odyssey at the Robinson's Galleria branch, a 1903 Philippine U.S. Commonwealth piso coin, 5 magazines of Lowrider, 2 magazines of World War 2, one black lingerie magazine of women in sexy lingerie, 3 more old Filipino coins and one old Filipino stamps set from SM Megamall. I spent time with tita Tiny and tita Jen, dang Nita, my relatives and I swam at the rooftop swimming pool at my dad's building in Taft Ave. I'm gonna look at my girls magazine and read my lowrider magazines and read my comic books. I may not have two turntables and a microphone but I'm a fat cat. Ciao!
